Kitchen & Home Renovation

Opening up the downstairs layout was the main focus of this home renovation, creating a much more spacious kitchen and dining area while improving the overall flow of the property.

The existing breakfast room and dining room were opened up to form a new kitchen/diner, with the existing kitchen carefully stripped out before being refitted. The works included new worktops, sink and taps, plumbing for the dishwasher and washing machine, new radiators and a number of electrical upgrades, including LED downlights, additional sockets and power for the kitchen appliances.

A new set of UPVC French doors was also installed, helping to bring more natural light into the newly opened-up kitchen and dining space. The walls and ceilings were overboarded, plastered and decorated, with new skirting and laminate flooring completing the room.

The renovation also extended into the utility room, where the existing layout was improved, the boiler was boxed in, a new radiator was added and the walls were redecorated. A new toilet and basin were installed, with new pipework and finishing works completed throughout.​

The completed renovation has transformed the downstairs of the home, creating a larger, brighter and more practical kitchen and dining space alongside a much-improved utility room, toilet and hallway.
