Two-Storey Extension & Home Renovation

What started as a project to create more space became a complete transformation of this family home. The main part of the work was a new two-storey rear extension, giving the property additional rooms upstairs while creating much more usable space downstairs.

The ground floor was reconfigured to make better use of the existing layout, including a larger living area and a new kitchen. Structural alterations and steelwork were required as part of the changes, allowing the new extension and internal layout to work together properly.

The renovation also included a new bathroom, plastering, internal painting and decorating, new flooring and tiling. Electrical works were carried out throughout the ground and first floors, including new LED downlights, additional sockets, USB points, CAT6 cabling and upgrades to the consumer unit.

Outside, we completed new paving to the rear and side paths, improved the driveway and parking area, and carried out external painting and making-good works to the existing property.

With so many different elements involved, the project required careful coordination from start to finish. The completed two-storey extension has created the extra rooms and living space the family needed, while the wider renovation has brought the rest of the home together with a much more practical and modern layout.
